Sharon is a midwife with 17 years clinical experience, currently practicing as a triage clinician.  Alongside her current role within the NHS she also teaches antenatal classes to expectant parents, in-person and also via online digital platforms.   This requires knowledge of current NICE guidelines and hospital policies that influence the care delivered in maternity settings.  Sharon has experience of reviewing clinical incidents in a non-biased, methodical way, highlighting key issues that require further analysis following the investigation process.  Being involved in bringing about change to improve the care women and their families receive in maternity services has led to her interest in the medico legal industry.
