Biography

A Registered General Nurse since 2004 with experience in both hospital and community settings. Current post is Renal Care Haemodialysis Application Specialist in industry. Providing training and teaching on haemodialysis application as a treatment for clinical staff.  Previous role was in the NHS as a Renal Peritoneal dialysis and Renal Outpatients Manager which meant full responsibility for the provision of nursing care both in the clinical area and in patients’ homes. Role incorporated all aspects of patient assessment, care planning and care provision. Management responsibilities included infection control strategies, Health and Safety, clinical governance, staff training/competencies. Responsibilities also included monitoring and auditing of clinical practice and subsequent preparation of reports and presentations.
