Biography

An Occupational Therapist with 19 years’ experience in a variety of settings including community, inpatient and corporate.

Jo has experience in the NHS England public sector, 18 months senior management and Safeguarding experience; 3 years private work experience and she is the founder of OT Makes Sense Ltd.

Jo has been providing expert witness assessments and reports for educational law and Education health plans with Simpson Millar. This involves all types of patient assessment including environmental, behavioural, neurological, memory, mental health, sensory processing, motor skills, manual handling, ADLS, balance, coordination and risk assessment. The main focus for all therapeutic intervention was patient recovery, task analysis, goal setting, reasonable adjustments supporting individuals to an optimum level of independence.
