Emma Waring (Critical Care)

Biography

A registered general nurse since 2005 with NHS experience within acute trusts, community sector and third sector services within the community.

Clinical expertise has incorporated all aspects of clinical triage, assessment, risk assessment, care provision and outcomes alongside ability to interpret and extract complex information. Role experience within large acute trusts and community settings.  Role experience in adult critical care/high dependency (surgical and non-surgical care) and as a deputy critical care outreach sister managing critically unwell patients in the ward environment and also as a clinical team leader and case load holder of a complex caseload for the provision care for adults with severe and multiple disadvantages requiring alcohol treatment provision.

Experience currently working in an operational leadership role overseeing multiple specialist and community nursing and allied health teams delivering high quality care for patients with long term conditions.  Emma has strong collaborative working experience from team through to strategic level. Emma currently works in the independent sector within a clinical leadership role and undertakes clinical practice within theatre recovery for patients’ post-surgical termination of pregnancy.
