A registered adult nurse since 1997 with experience working in a variety of healthcare settings- hospital, hospice and community. Specialised in palliative and end of life care for the last 20 years. Previous role was Head of In – Patient services at a hospice holding full responsibility for the 33 beds. Has extensive knowledge and experience in assessing, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. Management responsibilities included clinical governance, staff training and competencies, absence management, health and safety, infection prevention, audits and medicines management.
