Caroline has over 30 years post registration experience and is compassionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated, committed to delivering high quality, patient centred care. Caroline’s nursing experience is in secondary care specialising in critical care but also covering most specialty areas including pre-assessment, medical admissions, elective and emergency surgery. Caroline spent 7 years working within the commercial sector and as Manager for the Clinical Negligence Scheme for Trusts, she managed a team of Assessors to deliver the NHS contract for the NHS Litigation Authority. Instrumental in developing clinical risk management standards implemented by all Trusts across England, working collaboratively as a member of numerous multi-disciplinary teams including the Royal Colleges, specialist health professionals and Department of Health. Undertook assessment of NHS Trusts’ performance against the standards, producing written reports within tight deadlines to the Trust Board. Organised and co-ordinated training workshops, seminars and conferences and is an experienced speaker at both local and national level.
